Priory The Shores

The Moorings which is located in Poole, offers specialist 24/7 residential support for six adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, complex and challenging needs including autism and epilepsy. We encourage the people we support at The Moorings to personalise their rooms to their own taste as well as to take an active role in the running of the home. Individuals are also able to put forward their own ideas about the service through the “Your Voice” feedback programme. The Moorings is in close proximity to The Shores, another Priory Adult Care service, which enables the people we support to join together for shared activities if they choose to.

Situated in Poole, The Dunes is a specialist service for people with learning disabilities. Our service has been specially designed for individuals with complex needs, and our team is always on hand to ensure that each and every need is met. We are committed to providing just enough support to empower and encourage all individuals utilising our services to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible. By using Person Centred Plans, we help people to work towards a level of independence which fits with their skills, confidence and aspirations.

The Waves is a specialised service for people with autism and complex needs. At The Waves, each person has a weekly activity plan that has been individualised to suit their needs and interests and is put together with the help of the individual, their family and friends and multi-disciplinary team. We are committed to providing just enough support to empower and encourage all individuals utilising our services to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible. When living at The Waves, people are able to provide feedback and make suggestions about the care and support they receive by Priory Adult Care’s “Your Voice” feedback programme, as well as through regular meetings held within the home.
