An Airidh Bed & Breakfast Portree

Refurbished for 2023 our loch-side family-run Bed and Breakfast in Portree provides quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Alan and Alex (and Oatie, our very friendly Golden Retriever) look forward to welcoming you to our island home. We adapted our two guest rooms to make them as safe and self-contained as possible following the Covid-19 pandemic - our guests loved the changes. We have refurbished our guests rooms to improve on these adaptations, including a dining space in-room, breakfast service to your bedroom, and others. Additionally we have adapted our check-in/check-out procedures to make them as contact-free as possible. The Macleod's of Fisherfield have lived on this croft for over 150 years. For the last 40 years, and counting, through three generations, our family have offered guests from around the world Highland Hospitality on the same site. An-Airidh is set near the shore of Loch Portree overlooking the bay towards Ben Tianavaig and Raasay; An-Airidh is an excellent base for exploring Skye. 5 minutes walk from the Isle of Skye Candle Company visitor centre and Deli Gasta Portree. 15 minutes walk to centre of Portree. All rooms are en-suite with bath and shower, LED heated mirrors, bedrooms offer flat screen TVs, mini-fridge, microwave, tea & coffee making facilities, free wifi, hairdryers, and stunning views overlooking our old family croft and Loch Portree. There is plenty of free car parking available. The loch in front of An-Airidh is home to seals, and if you are very lucky you might spot otters playing in the garden. Cast your eye over the loch to the hill beyond, called Ben Tianavaig, when you open your bedroom curtains in the morning and you might be lucky enough to spot the neighbouring white-tailed sea-eagles.
