Cafe Kudos

Cafe Kudos is a vocational service run by Scottish Autism. It is managed by a small specialist team of staff who enable autistic adults to develop various skills such as customer service, cooking and budgeting in a supported environment. This thriving cafe is a firmly established part of the local community. Our vocational services offer autistic adults meaningful training opportunities and the chance to develop work skills in a safe environment. Learning valuable practical skills within this setting can enhance an individual’s self-esteem as they can see firsthand the value in the work they carry out. Individuals also have the opportunity to experience being part of a team, working together towards a common goal. This is important for building confidence and further developing their social and communication skills
