Calanais Visitor Centre

The Calanais Visitor Centre site is now closed to the public for redevelopment, until the new centre opens in spring 2026. During this period, visitors will not have access to any facilities at the visitor centre site including no parking or toilets. However, the Calanais Standing Stones remain open and accessible to the public. There will inevitably be some disruption caused by construction works, this redevelopment project aims to significantly enhance the visitor experience and create a 5-star attraction for both locals and tourists. We appreciate your understanding and support during the construction period and look forward to welcoming you back to a wonderful new visitor centre.
