Situated on the southernmost tip of the iconic Loch Ness, Scottish Canals’ newest accommodation located at the Caledonian Canal Centre, Fort Augustus is the perfect venue whether you are seeking a peaceful spot for an overnight rest stop, after taking on the challenge of the Great Glen or you are looking for a unique base to explore all the myths and marvels of the Scottish Highlands. The venue has seven rooms all with their own unique personality – from the Loch Oich which sleeps three to Nessie and Neptune which can join together to sleep six. The rooms are all beautifully designed and decorated with a great blend of modern style and traditional fabrics to make the modern traveller feel at home. Located above the new Caledonian Canal Centre the centre offers visitor facilities all year round, including information point, a gift shop selling locally produced goods and a café serving homemade, Scottish produce.
