An Comunn Gàidhealach, established in Oban in 1891, has long supported the teaching, learning, and use of the Gaelic language alongside the promotion of Gaelic literature, history, music, and art. The organisation plays a vital role in the Gaelic community through events like the Royal National Mòd and local Mòds across Scotland.
