Dornoch Castle Hotel

A 500-year-old converted Scottish castle, the hotel is set in the centre of Dornoch, opposite a 13th-century cathedral. The hotel boasts the award winning, world famous Dornoch Castle Whisky Bar, with an impressive collection of single malt whisky. The hotel is also the home to Dornoch Distillery, with both the award winning gin, single malt whisky & independent bottlings available to purchase by the measure in the whisky bar. Castle rooms are set in the 15th-17th part of the hotel, with the standard rooms in the newer extension attachment of the hotel. Dornoch Castle restaurant offers causal dining, including small plates & sharing plates, main dishes including local seafood, and Neapolitan style pizzas using locally sourced dough & toppings. The hotel also offers al fresco dining on warmer evenings, and takeaway pizza. The private dining space 'The Vault' offers family style dining, and whisky tastings hosted by one of the talented bar team.
