Glenholme Country House and the Rookery

Glenholme is a luxury Country House B & B with elegant interiors. Featured in Sunday Times list of top 50 affordable hotels. Beautiful Gardens. Three course dinner using fresh local ingredients and vegetables from our own garden by arrangement. Library and open fire. No televisions, but free wireless internet. No children under 12 years. We do not have an alcohol licence, but guests are welcome to bring their own wine to enjoy with their meal. The Rookery is our two-bedroom self-catering accommodation adapted from what were the servants' quarters of the main house. It is fully equipped, fully self-contained, with a Scandinavian feeling to the decor. Light and airy in summer when you can pick vegetables from the garden; warm and cosy in winter when you can snuggle up by the log burner. And if you don't feel like cooking, you can come into the main house for dinner. Children welcome.
