Go Wild Scotland is a community interest company in the Scottish Borders bringing people together with nature. The region is home to iconic species including red squirrel and golden eagle. Based in Selkirk, Go Wild Scotland works to improve access for all to the natural environment and encourages community involvement in nature and conservation projects. Its community wildlife project in Mauldsheugh Wood in Selkirk features a physical and digital nature trail, nature ponds and bird watching facilities. With the help of volunteers more than 1,400 trees have been planted to improve the biodiversity of the community woodland. To support its community projects Go Wild Scotland runs nature tours, corporate team wellbeing packages and volunteering experiences where guests can see the wildlife of southern Scotland and get involved in conservation work. Activities include red squirrel and osprey viewing, bird of prey displays, guided nature walks and bespoke nature packages.
