Slow Food Highland Fine Dining and Storytelling My name is Karen, and I have been cooking since I was a child, but my culinary future began to take shape seriously when I went to France to work as an au pair. Not only did I study on a Cordon Bleu course, but learnt to prepare traditional Parisian dishes from my host family’s mother and mother-in-law. And Scotland? Scotland has given me fantastic resources to make “good, clean and fair food”, recreating dishes that run the risk of disappearing from our culinary heritage.
