Ottoman Coffeehouse Was Founded By Two Siblings And Started As An Idea Back In 2005. Their Dream Was To Bring To Glasgow An Under The Radar Coffee Shop That People Keep Falling In Love With; A Cafe That Would Build The Bridges Between Different Cultures, A Regular Sort Of United Nations. They Didn’t Want People To Feel They’re Being Harried And Hustled Out The Door, A Home Away From Home, Sipping Our Magical Brew, A Moment Of Warmth That Fills The Soul As The First Sip Fills Us. So They Travelled To Istanbul; A Living Museum For The Country’s Coffee Culture, From Here Coffee First Spread Its Roots Throughout The Ottoman Empire, Into Western Europe, And Across The World, They Learned The Way Of The Magical Black Brew; Exactly As It Was Intended To Be Roasted, Ground And Brewed. And Discovered A Coffee Scene That Didn’t Exist In The UK. A Decade Later, After A Multitude Of Disappointments And Challenges Ottoman Coffeehouse Was Born.
