The House on the Shore

The House on the Shore is in a unique and amazing location situated on the water's edge looking across the Solway Firth to the mountains of the Lake District. It is in Dumfries and Galloway - a beautiful and undiscovered part of South West Scotland which has something for everyone from lovely walks to championship golf courses (Southerness), world renowned gardens (The Garden of Cosmic Speculation, Threave, Logan Botanical Gardens), castles (Drumlanrigg) and delightful towns (Kircudbright and Castle Douglas). It is an area that inspires artist and attracts bird lovers on the edge of Dark Sky park so perfect for star gazing. This is our home and we look forward to welcoming you as guests . There are three bedrooms all with stunning sea views - two kingsize en suite bedrooms and a twin bedroom with a private bathroom just outside the room. A delicious breakfast will be served in the dinning room with a roaring log fire if it's cold outside. There is also a comfortable drawing room for your use. All the bedrooms have amazing sea views, TV's and tea and coffee making facilities. The beds are incredibly comfortable with crisp white linen and soft feather duvets you that you can sink into.
