The Midge Bite - Achnasheen

Midge Bite - Achnasheen is a cafe/coffee shop perfectly located in stunning scenery, roadside on the A832 (part of the NC500) on the way to Skye, Gairloch, Applecross & many more beautiful destinations, with good parking & full disables access. Sit in (including outdoor deck area) or takeaway is available for all of our products. We serve breakfast from 8:00 - 11:30 and lunch from 12:00 - 4:00 (Sunday is 1000-15:00)Freshly ground coffee, Scottish ice cream, homemade cakes & soup available all day. We have an extensive hot & cold drinks list & our blackboard lunch menu changes daily, serving a selection of sandwiches, baked potatoes, hot sandwiches, specials & salads. We also stock a small variety of local gift items such as art, cosmetics, pottery & honey. Wherever possible we use small local suppliers of seasonal ingredients. We welcome keep cups & bring your own lunch boxes, trying our best to lessen our environmental impact at all times.
