Glynn Vivian is a centre of excellence for the visual arts a world-class gallery for Wales. The Gallery is a vibrant and inspiring free art space for everyone and provides spaces for historical, modern and contemporary art exhibitions, talks, performance and events in the heart of Swansea’s bustling artistic quarter. The Gallery (founded in 1911) has a significant Collection, from old masters to contemporary artists, with an international collection of porcelain and Swansea china. Our artistic programme includes exhibitions, collaborations and socially engaged projects. We support emerging and established local artists as well as bringing some of the world’s leading artists to Wales. Our gallery is full of opportunities to learn, discover, make and have fun. You can join in our many activities and workshops or pick up a free activity trail during your visit. Glynn Vivian Art Gallery is part of Swansea Council and is supported by Arts Council of Wales.
