Killay Fawr

Our rooms at Avoncourt Guesthouse in Ilfracombe are simply furnished, with large windows and lots of light. Three of them have small balconies. There are lovely views over Ilfracombe from the front and to the rocky cliff garden in the back - sea views are stunning, but only from the top of the Torrs walk, which runs past the front door and up to the cliffs, about 500 yards further on. Our wi-fi is erratic but available. The construction of the building and the location of the property mean wi-fi is not entirely reliable, but guests are welcome to use it, technology permitting. We have a comfortable lounge library on the ground floor, an 'honesty' bar, and a fully equipped drying room, with places to hang wet gear and to dry wet or sandy boots.
