***BRAND NEW CARDIFF HOSTEL 2015!*** Welcome to Mrs Potts Backpackers! If you're looking for some beautiful yet affordable accommodation in the heart of Cardiff's city centre, look no further! Mrs Potts hostel is perfect for anyone curious to visit the Welsh capital, Cardiff, and experience the celebrated Welsh hospitality. Located in the heart of the city on St Mary's Street, Mrs. Potts is a retreat from bustling city life but perfectly located so it is only a few minutes walk from all the main attractions of Cardiff such as the beautiful and historic castle, the national museum, theatres and our epic Millennium stadium. We are only 20 minutes away from Cardiff bay too, which offers beautiful views of the bay, boat trips, bay blasts and river bus transport to try out, more restaurants and bars to delve into, galleries and theatres to excite, the Dr Who Experience is located here for the Whovians in town, and many seasonal events and festivals that run all year round. Our rooms are all 4 or 6 bed dorms so you have plenty of personal space when you need it here or equally, the opportunity to meet fellow travellers where you can exchange stories of your adventures. All of our beds include personal power sockets with USB so you can comfortably charge your electrical items when you're catching some Zzz's over night, stress free. Our cabin bunkbeds also come with a personal light and your very own starry curtains to draw closed when you're settling in for the night. This means you can stay up as long as you like without the concern of disturbing your fellow dorm neighbours. __ Lockers are provided under each bespoke bunkbed creating extra security for your belongings in your room. All you need is a padlock to secure it and make it yours! Toilets and showers can be found on all floors, directly outside of the rooms, so no more awkward shuffles along corridors in your towel attempting to figure out which direction to go to get back to your dormitory. Speaking of towels... if you forget yours -Don't panic! We rent them out at reception. We have a brand new self-catering kitchen for you to whip up some tasty culinary delights during your stay and a clean and comfortable dining room to eat and drink in. The dining room is also used as a social space where you can meet others staying at Mrs Potts, play some traditional board games, take time out to read your favourite book or even browse the internet. We don't have parking here at Mrs Potts, but as we are so central there are many car parks in the city centre that you can use. Currently the cheapest and closest parking is Cardiff Central train station car park, which is around £10 for 24 hours and located 5 minutes walk from Mrs Potts. For weekend stays we do require a minimum stay of 2 nights, so please bare this in mind when booking. We don't have a curfew as we like you to have the freedom to come and go when you please. Of course, we ask that you are respectful of your fellow dorm neighbours if your body clock set on a different time. Our reception is 24/7 so staff are always on hand for anything you need during your stay! Just ask!
