Galwch Acw is a unique arts and crafts shop located on Bangor Street in Caernarfon, dedicated to showcasing the incredible works created by adults with learning disabilities from various hubs throughout Gwynedd. Since opening in October 2019, it also serves as a community hub, providing a safe environment for individuals to develop workplace skills and express themselves through creativity.
The shop embraces an ethos of sustainability by upcycling materials, evident in their striking craft table made from recycled scaffolding planks and scrap metal. Profits generated are reinvested to further create opportunities for adults with learning disabilities in the region, alongside offering a programme of activities and social events for the local community.
