Poplar House

Located close to the centre of Llangollen, Poplar House is an impressive building dating from the early 1700s which, for much of its lifetime, served as a Coaching Inn. It's now the family home of Ginny Leon who have furnished and decorated the house throughout with great style and taste. In the main house there are 2 spacious guest bedrooms, all with TVs and DVDs, and two private bathrooms which are comprehensively equipped and meticulously maintained. Rated Three star with Visit Wales (Welsh Tourist Board). More accommodation is available in the converted Coach House at the rear of the house. Here, one of the units has been fully equipped for disabled guests with wide doors, low bath and a drive-in shower. The other is furnished in traditional cottage style and can be used on either a self-catering or B&B basis. These two units can also be interlinked making them ideal for a family with someone who is disabled. Guests can enjoy either a Continental breakfast or a full English 4-course breakfast.
