Quakers of Swansea
Swansea Quaker Meeting has a rich history of over 350 years, contributing significantly to various social and cultural movements worldwide. Known for its emphasis on silence and individual spiritual experience, the Meeting provides a space for worship free of formal structure, allowing participants to engage with their spirituality and one another in contemplation.
Located just outside Swansea's main city centre, the Meeting House, dating back to 1858, is the only remaining property of its kind in the area, featuring a large Meeting Room that accommodates up to 54 people. Various other rooms, such as a library and the John ap John room, are also available for hire, offering inviting settings for smaller gatherings and discussions. Generated from the website
