The Old Courthouse Caernarfon is a Grade 1 listed building of outstanding architectural importance, situated directly opposite Caernarfon Castle and inside the historic town walls. Built in 1863, the Courthouse was the seat of Justice in Caernarfon until 2009. Now it is an elegant venue for dining and events. The Bench Bistro (former Magistrate's Court) serves dinner from 6:00p.m. Wednesday – Sunday and has a seasonal menu with fresh, local produce. The Courthouse Theatre (former Crown Court) hosts events, concerts, cabaret with dining, dancing and film. Downstairs you will find the Witness Room bar. The Old Courthouse is also available for private hire, parties, conferences, T.V. filming, weddings and events.
