Tŷ Glyndŵr Bar & Cafe

Ty Glyndwr is a new, fresh, modern hostel within a Grade II listed Victorian building in the centre of the Historical Town of Caernarfon. Our hostel, cafe & bar are located just 50m from the C13th UNESCO designated Caernarfon Castle built by Edward I. We are at the heart of the old walled town, the walls of which border the beautiful Menai Strait. Built in 1815 Ty Glyndwr has been extensively refurbished inside & out to provide eclectic yet modern interiors while retaining its charm. The hostel provides guests with a relaxed & friendly welcome, very comfortable accommodation, great coffee & a fantastic bar. We offer dorm & private rooms as well as a family studio & can add infant cots to private rooms. A continental breakfast is included. Dogs can be accommodated in private rooms, fees apply. Our cafe serves the finest locally roasted coffee, a range of teas & incredibly tasty fresh cakes. Our basement bar stocks a great range & regularly hosts live acoustic music.
