Worth Abbey, an English Benedictine monastery, under the patronage of Our Lady, Help of Christians. Worth Abbey was founded in 1933, in 500 acres of Sussex High Weald forest and fields. Today the Abbey is home to a monastery of some 12 monks who pray, teach and minister the gospel of Christ in this area. Four of our monks live and work in the Brighton area - see the 'Brighton Mission' of our website.
The monks of Worth Abbey have begun their summer retreat from the evening of Tuesday 8th August until the morning of Saturday 12th. The usual Liturgical timetable and live streaming continues (see link)
