Museum Het Rembrandthuis

The Bijbels Museum is a nomadic Museum that produces temporary art exhibitions that travel across the city and the country. We present them in collaboration with many different museums, churches and other venues in the Netherlands in Amsterdam and (a.o.) The Hague, Middelburg, Ter Apel, Zwolle and Amersfoort. The exhibitions are always inspired by the Bible, or stories related to the Bible. We often relate with other religions too. We work mostly with young artists. Get inspired by our exhibitions that offer opportunities for reflection and inspiration! Most of our present exhibitions are bilingual or do not need texts. We do not have a permanent museum in Amsterdam anymore. Our collection has been transferred to many important museums, which are taking good care of it.

Het Stadsarchief Amsterdam is het historisch documentatie-centrum van de stad Amsterdam met 50 kilometer archieven, een historisch-topografische collectie met miljoenen kaarten, tekeningen en prenten, een bibliotheek en omvangrijke geluids-, film- en fotoarchieven. Het Stadsarchief Amsterdam bewaart en vertelt de verhalen van de stad Amsterdam. Met tentoonstellingen, lezingen, evenementen en cursussen presenteren wij onze grote collectie in woord en beeld.
