Bringing the West End to Southend Southend Theatres consists of the 1659-seat Cliffs Pavilion in Station Road, Southend, SS0 7RA and the 603-seat Palace Theatre in London Road, Southend (SS0 9LA) which also incorporates the 100-seat Dixon Studio. Both theatres present a varied programme of live entertainment throughout the year encompassing West End musicals and plays, top name stand-up comedians and vocalists, rock concerts, opera, ballet, children's shows, tribute artists and the biggest pantomime in the south east. The Cliffs Pavilion also presents a large number of dining, cabaret and themed events in its Maritime Room and is a favourite venue for weddings, parties, family occasions and a wide range of Christmas party events every year.
