Cammie's Old Dutch Ice Cream Shoppe has been serving delicious ice cream in Mobile, Alabama, since 1969. Originally opened by Mr. Edwin Widemire, the shop has a rich history rooted in family recipes. Cammie Wayne, who started working there at sixteen, took over the shop in 1998 and began making all the ice cream on-site with her husband, Larry, in 2011.
The shop offers a variety of treats, including 47 different flavors, banana splits, milkshakes, and sundaes. As the only ice cream manufacturer and wholesaler in Mobile, Cammie's Old Dutch strives to provide quality ice cream made right in their creamery on Halls Mill Road. They also offer catering services for events.

Still a great spot for local ice cream! Very busy especially at night. I loved the lilac honey. So light and sweet. All their flavors are great!

Came after a dinner across the street. Line moved quick but one employee was just swiping on her phone and then would start scooping the ice cream and another was rubbing chap stick on her lips...

Our favorite sweet spot!! Great for ice-cream only. The service could be used some help. Not very friendly in our experience best to just get it to go.

Love going to the local ice cream parlor when I'm visiting a new city- Cammie"s did not disappoint. they have a laundry list of flavors and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this old school...
