West Bainbridge Elementary School
Founded in 1930, West Bainbridge Elementary has more than 15 classrooms. It offers courses in reading, English, science and math. The school also offers morning and afternoon meals that include cereals, milk, juices, pizzas, sandwiches, fruits, patties, cookies, baked vegetables and rice. Additionally, the school publishes a monthly newsletter that features staff details and campus activities. Located in Bainbridge, Ga., West Bainbridge Elementary is a part of Decatur County Schools, which educates more than 5,000 students. The district operates over 10 educational facilities and employs nearly 450 teachers. It also employs more than 150 paraprofessionals and over 200 educational support personnel.
