about our firm The Firm, originally known as Harwell, Bottoms & Plant, was formed in 1974 and included, along with Mr. Plant, the late Judge William A. "Bud" Harwell and present District Attorney General Thomas M. Bottoms. Bottoms assumed the office of District Attorney General in 1982, and for a long while thereafter the Firm was known simply as Harwell & Plant. Mr. Williams joined the Firm in 2000, and in 2002 the Firm took its present name of Harwell, Plant & Williams. The Firm prides itself in its consistency of quality representation and its ability to adapt to its clients' needs in an ever changing society.
