Annette Island Junior & Senior High School

Richard Johnson Elementary School maintains a staff of full- and part-time certified teachers and classified support personnel. The school provides educational classes to students in kindergarten through grade six. It has a library media center that provides online catalogs that offer students the opportunity to access library materials and related resources on the Web. Its academic curriculum includes music, reading, math, science, social studies, art, communication skills, technology, and health and physical education. The school has a parent-teacher association that works to strengthen public education through parent and community involvement. Richard Johnson Elementary School is a part of the Annette Islands School District and is located in Metlakatla, Ark.
