Amjad Riaz-Ul-Haq, MD

Amjad Riaz, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with over 35 years of clinical experience. He completed his residency at Buffalo Medical and Dental Consortium through the Catholic Health System. His clinical interests include diabetes management, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypertension and cardiovascular disease prevention, providing comprehensive care for patients with complex chronic conditions. Dr. Riaz emphasizes preventive medicine through lifestyle changes, including diet and exercise, and follows established treatment guidelines while working with patients to create personalized care plans. Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Riaz has lived in Peoria, Arizona, for 28 years and considers it his hometown. He enjoys hiking, reading fiction and gardening.
