In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Today, we continue their mission at every Black Bear Diner across the country, as we passionately provide guests an outstanding experience. This visit was SOooooo much better than last week. Our server checked on us 2 or 3 times. The food was good. Our cups were good. I'm much happier.

Came back again because my inner bear had to be satisfied. Got the BLT and sweet potato fries. The BLT was super juicy and fresh, along with the crispy sweet potato fries. Service was excellent....
