As physicians, I believe that it is our duty to educate not just medical students but our patients as well. The more accurate your knowledge, the better decision you can make concerning medications and treatment. I strive to communicate with my colleagues as well, explaining the nuances of psychopharmacology and pathology in terms any general medical doctor would understand. I believe this allows cohesion as a healthcare unit, bettering the patient's outcome.
