Lake Powell Medical Center is a practice location of Canyonlands Community Health Care providing community health centers that deliver primary and preventive health care. Canyonlands Community Health Care offers one-stop services and a health care home for patients in their communities. The health care center provides ongoing care and health management for families and individuals. Canyonlands Community Health Care centers are private, nonprofit, consumer-directed health care centers which provide cost-effective primary and preventive care to all people in the areas they serve with special programs to the medically underserved and uninsured people. The center offers infant, child, adolescent, and adult recommended immunizations. Other services provided by the center include primary care and preventive services urgent medical services, obstetrical care, breastfeeding education, on-site pharmacy at four locations, diagnostic laboratory and X-ray, occupational health, and family planning.
