Dr. Lucy Ma attended Duke University for her undergraduate studies, followed by medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She then completed her internship in internal medicine and residency in ophthalmology at the National Capital Consortium and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She is excited to provide comprehensive eye care at Desert Vista Eye Specialists.

Desert Vista Eye Specialists provide comprehensive eye care with one Ophthalmologist and two medical Optometrists on full time staff. Our Ophthalmologist is a fellowship trained cornea specialist, performing all cornea surgeries including endothelial and full thickness transplants, pterygium removal, and cataract surgery. In addition, we have a brand new, state of the art, laser refractive suite to perform fully customized LASIK. We also manage glaucoma medically and surgically and perform intravitreal injections for age related macular degeneration, diabetes, and retinal edema. Additionally, we fit specialty contact lenses for diseases such as keratoconus and high astigmatism.
