Arkansas and Missouri Railroad is an independent railroad serving a 139-mile corridor from Fort Smith, Ark., to Monett, Mo., with its head office in Springdale, Ark. Its main operation is railcar freight business. It provides regional, national and international inbound and outbound shipments of almost any bulk freight, and supplies railcars for its direct customers. Working with several business partners, the railroad also moves freight in tandem with barges traveling the Arkansas River. It also operates a passenger excursion train, which is a major tourist attraction. It also provides short- and long-term storage solutioins.
