And your therapist stays in touch with your doctor to keep him or her apprised of your progress, adjusting treatment when necessary and correcting problems if they arise. To be referred to the Clinic for outpatient occupational or physical therapy, you will need a prescription from your doctor.

The original Stuttgart Memorial Hospital opened in 1957. In 2009 the facility became a part of the Baptist Health system. Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart is licensed by the state of Arkansas for 49 acute care beds. This hospital is one of eleven Baptist Health hospitals in Arkansas and is a member of the Arkansas and American Hospital Association, major health networks and is Medicare certified.
