About Arkansas Wings The Arkansas Wings founded in 1980 has achieved national recognition in the sport of basketball through our post scholastic programs. This success has been a result of coaches, parents, and players who have made a commitment to the true meaning of "teamwork." To promote and develop leadership, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and athletic excellence, without regard to race, religion, social, or economic status, utilizing our "God" given talent in a way that will honor him.

Established in 2001, Academics Plus Charter School is an educational institute that provides various college preparatory programs for students. The school offers learning opportunities in English, mathematics, computer science and foreign language. It also provides classes in art, drama and physical education. The school has a parent-teacher organization that encourages the participation of parents in school activities. Academics Plus Charter School features a science and chess club and basketball courts. In addition, it has a beta club that helps in developing leadership skills among students. Plus Charter School is located in Maumelle, Ark.
