Newswanger's Produce and Garden Center

History

In 2008 we, Daniel and Lucia Newswanger entered the retail industry when we planted our first greenhouse crop of spring hanging baskets, followed by a fall crop of garden mums. In 2009 we rented a location near Star City, Arkansas and started to sell our plants and homegrown produce along with other locally sourced products. In 2012 we opened our current location near Dumas as a result of Esau's sweet corn farm offering us the location they had been using as a farm stand. The most recent additions to our market is when we took over the Delta Supreme catfish store in the fall of 2017. We continue to grow each year, thanks to you, our local customers.

Newswanger's Produce and Garden Center is committed to delivering the best in the industry when it comes to answering your garden or landscape problems and providing the best locally grown fruits and vegetables. Greenhouse plants, succulents, trees, shrubs, pottery, furniture, and yard art to enhance your outdoor living are available spring, summer, and fall. Summer favorites are, fresh shelled purple hull peas, Esau's sweetcorn, Esau watermelon, and cherokee purple heirloom tomatoes. We color up the fall season with mums, pumpkins, pansies, and more. Amish homemade butter, cheese, pickles, jams, and candy are available year round. Amish Wedding, Superior Catfish, and Gourmet Gardens are some of our most popular food brands.
