Alta Archaeological Consulting was established by Risa DeGeorgey in 2012 to provide cultural resource consulting to private business, industry leaders, and government agencies. Our staff of dedicated professionals provides clientele with expertise in historic preservation permitting, mitigation, monitoring, cultural resource management, as well as Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and computer modeling. We provide expert advice and innovative solutions for complying with environmental regulations such as the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Native American Graves Protection Act (NAGPRA), and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
