Alta Bates Summit Outpatient Pharmacy (ABSOP) is a specialty pharmacy that helps to treat complex medical conditions including (but not limited to) all types of cancers and inflammatory conditions. Patients can find hands-on support and educational services at our pharmacy. ABSOP has services that are led by specialty pharmacists who are experts on your medications. They review medications you receive for your safety and their effectiveness for your care. Pharmacists work in close partnership with your healthcare team to monitor your progress. As part of the Comprehensive Cancer Center (CCC), we can review your medical chart. This allows us to look for drug interactions, monitor your labs for safety and easily communicate with your healthcare team.
