Amaya's Massage was established in 2019 because a rejuvenating, healing touch is the natural companion to fitness activity. I am certified in various modalities suited to you because your body's needs are as unique as you. For the past 20 years I've been a fitness trainer to select clientele.

Sports Massage is a house specialty for athletes whether you're a weekend jogger or world-class professional. Treat your body to maximum performance and reduced recovery time, or prepare yourself pre-event. This massage promotes endurance, helps prevent injuries and improves your mind-body connection. Swedish Massage relieves your entire body. This massage delivers more than just relaxation; it's exceptionally beneficial for increasing oxygen levels in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. Deep Tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish Massage, but the deeper pressure can relax chronic muscle tension. By focusing on the deepest layers of your muscles, tendons and fascia this modality can reduce stress hormone levels and heart rate while boosting your mood. You'll feel relaxed with the release of oxytocin and serotonin. Neuromuscular massage is a form of deep massage that is applied to individual muscles. It is used primarily to release trigger points (intense knots of muscle tension that refer pain to other parts of the body) and also to increase blood flow. It is often used to reduce pain. Trigger point massage and myotherapy are similar forms.
