Apex Cycles and Service

History

APEX was the brainchild of Aaron. With at the time, over 15 years of experience in the industry as an avid cyclist, team mechanic, service shop manager, and outside sales rep, Aaron decided to open a small repair shop based on appointment to work around his regular day job. This business model continued over the years as he worked full time for UC Davis as their Bicycle Program Coordinator and ran traffic congestion research projects for Uber and launched the Jump bike and scooter-share network within the Sacramento Region. The shop is still primarily by appointment as Aaron also owns and operates a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu academy in town along with working remotely for a tech company out of Miami. Over the years, APEX has gone through many different iterations yet holding steadfast to their main focus of providing personalized service at a reasonable rate. They are also the only full-service shop in Davis to provide mobile bike repair.
