Ara Ko, MD, MPH

Dr. Heather Henri is an Associate Professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine.Dr. Henri attended Stanford University, where she received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. At Stanford she was the recipient of the President's Award for Academic Excellence in the Freshman Year, awarded to the top 3% of students. She has been the recipient of an American Heart Association Internship at the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She also was awarded two Howard Hughe's Institute Research Fellowships at the NIH, one at the National Cancer Institute and the second at the National Eye Institute.In 2000, Dr. Henri graduated from Harvard Medical School.

Renumathy Dhanasekaran MD is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the School of Medicine, Stanford University. Her primary research goal is to explore the molecular biology of liver cancer in order to identify novel biomarkers and molecular-targeted therapies. She conducts basic and translational research to understand the molecular mechanisms of liver cancer metastasis and dormancy using mouse models of liver cancer. Also, she plays an active role in the cancer genome atlas (TCGA) consortium effort to translate the knowledge gained from the study of genomics of liver cancer.

Dr. Sunwoo was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Washington University. Dr. Sunwoo has been at Stanford University since 2008, and his clinical focus is on the surgical management of head and neck cancer, specifically focusing on melanoma and neoplasms of the thyroid and parathyroid glands. He is a member of the Pigmented Lesions and Melanoma Clinic and the Melanoma Working Group at Stanford.
