A block from San Luis Obispo Bay, this Mexican-style, upscale hotel is 1.4 miles from Avila Sea Caves. The warmly decorated rooms come with free Wi-Fi, snack baskets and spa tubs for 2, plus Bose sound systems, flat-screen TVs and coffeemakers. Some rooms have balconies and 4-poster beds. Suites add extra living space and full kitchens. The hotel offers free parking, a guest pantry, nightly ice cream and pie, and an evening drinks reception. There's a lobby with a stained-glass window and a fireplace, along with terrace with a BBQ.
