I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor's in Food Science and Human Nutrition and have a Masters in Public Administration. Following college, I interned and received certification to become a Registered Dietitian. I began my career in the medical field but never felt it was a right fit, until I found the Women, Infant, & Children's Agency in Red Bluff, California, where I thrived counseling new moms. When I moved to Shasta County in 2004, I began working for the Shasta County Public Health Agency.
