Bay Area Youth Agency Consortium (BAYAC) is a National Service program operated by Bay Area Community Resources. BAYAC AmeriCorps Members dedicate a year of service to partnering schools and community-based organizations, offering the youth in the San Francisco Bay Area opportunities for meaningful engagement, skill development, and emotional and social growth.

Through direct services in youth development, health education, academic support, and capacity-building activities, BAYAC AmeriCorps Members play a vital role in expanding the capacity of our partners to address the critical needs of underprivileged children and youth affected by poverty, disadvantaged neighborhoods, and under-resourced schools.

Ryse Center

RYSE Center works to maintain safety for the youth so they are able to take healthy risks emotionally, politically and physically. Based in Richmond, Calif., the organization engages young people as members of families, neighborhoods and communities. It operates through several on-site as well as off-site programs and activities. RYSE Center has partnerships with the City of Richmond, County of Contra Costa and West Contra Costa Unified School District. Its members work with staff and community partners to implement on-site programs.
