The Mental Health Client Action Network is a peer-community service organization that serves people with psychiatric disabilities. It provides mutual support and networking services, as well as creates client-controlled programs. The organization assists people in rediscovering and developing skills and talents. It operates the Drop-In Center that hosts more than 12,000 visits annually from over 600 mental health clients. The Mental Health Client Action Network supports various activities, including pain and anger management classes, art therapy, massages, exercises, and low-impact aerobics and yoga sessions. It runs and sponsors a variety of programs for people with mental health disabilities. The Mental Health Client Action Network maintains a location in Santa Cruz, Calif.
