Founded in 1979, Catholic Answers is one of the largest lay-run apostolates of Catholic evangelization in the United States. It provides a collection of books, tracts, booklets, audiocassettes and videotapes that focus on Catholic apologetics. The apostolate offers This Rock, which is a 48-page magazine that is published ten times each year. Catholic Answers distributes more than 2,500 copies of the magazine among bishops, seminarians, foreign missionaries and Catholic prisoners. It offers the Catholic Century Seminars program under which apologists and speakers conduct over 200 conferences, seminars and retreats each year. The apostolate has a full-time staff of volunteers that provides counseling services. Its projects include the Angels and Demons, Sacrament of Charity and Help Our Kids Stay Catholic in College. Catholic Answers is located in El Cajon, Calif.

Kappa Surveying Inc was established in 1979 in La Mesa, California and provides a variety of surveying and mapping services throughout all of San Diego County in Southern California. Our line of work includes lot surveys, major subdivisions, minor subdivisions, A.L.T.A. surveys, condominium plans, condominium conversions, fence line surveys, lot line adjustments, topographic surveys and feasibility studies. Services are provided for private and government sectors. We also are able to provide all aspects of field surveying including topography mapping and construction staking. All work is performed in-house . We are a certified Small Business ( SB ), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise ( DBE ) and Small Local Business Enterprise ( SLBE ). Our office equipment includes the latest in computer operating speeds, latest release of AutoCAD with Land Development Desktop ( a Civil Engineering & Surveying software package ). Field equipment includes electronic total station transits ; hand held data collectors with CAD and GPS capabilities for fast, reliable and accurate field calculations and collections. We are members of the California Land Surveyors Association. The principals of Kappa Surveying are Rick Turner P.L.S., President, and Rob Russell P.L.S., Vice-President.
