History

Family owned and operated, Cali Baguette (Mira Mesa) is the 2nd of three locations: the original being on the corner of El Cajon Blvd and 52nd St. in City Heights. What started as an ideal location turned into a venue for our passion and an opportunity to share our culture. Our mission is to offer a great Banh Mi experience for the lowest prices possible. And hopefully our service and quality brings you back.

Specialties

We specialize in French influenced Vietnamese sandwiches called Banh Mi. We bake our own bread on location for the freshest banh mi experience possible. We offer 16, and counting, different style sandwiches ranging from BBQ pork, Grilled Beef, Cajun Shrimp, turkey with pesto and our most popular being the Cali Special (a combination of traditional deli meats and generous amounts of home-made garlic mayo and liver pate). Our banh mi is stuffed with pickled carrots and daikon, cucumbers, cilantro, slices of jalepenos, salt/pepper and signature soy sauce. We also offer rice plates and specialize in noodle soups that is usually only served at home; such as our Bun Rieu (crab cake noodle soup in a tomato based broth served with vermicelli rice noodles). A foot-long banh mi can be had for a little as $2.50! Nom Nom Nom Nom
