Cardiovascular Care Associates is a premier cardiology group in the Los Alamitos and Long Beach areas. The practice began in 1985 with the primary goal of providing personalized, state of the art, attentive care to the local community. Our cardiologists have served as previous or current Director of the University of California at Irvine Cardiology Fellowship Program, Long Beach Memorial Interventional Program Director, Chief of Cardiology, Director of Cardiac Imaging at Long Beach Memorial, and Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at St. Mary Medical Center. We are the only cardiology group in the greater Long Beach area that has a heavy presence at both Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Los Alamitos Medical Center, a trait that allows us to take advantage of the strengths of either local hospital.Our practice is the only cardiology group in the area that selectively sees patients with Medicare or PPO plans. This exclusivity has served our patients well by reducing wait times for doctor visits or needed tests. In addition, as all of our patients have the freedom of choosing their physicians, our doctors and staff strive to provide the best quality and comprehensive care to our patients. Our commitment to quality is what has inspired us to be the first cardiology group in the Los Alamitos or Long Beach area to have their echocardiogram laboratory and nuclear laboratory accredited by the national ICAEL and ICANL certifying bodies. These national organizations review the quality of our studies and training of our technicians, and are the same organizations that certify institutions such as the Mayo Clinic, Cedars-Sinai, Cleveland Clinic, etc.
