History

Born in San Fernando Valley, Shelley Gottlieb has always had a passion towards caring for animals. In her free time during high school, she found herself providing pet sitting services for friends and family. As Shelley grew older, she knew her love for animals couldn't be something she only did in her free-time...she wanted to make it her full-time priority. Years later, she was in need of overnight pet care for her beloved dog, Peanut. With few options, Shelley reluctantly picked a general pet facility. Shelley returned from her trip excited to see Peanut but the excitement soon turned into sadness. Poor Peanut had a missing tooth and no one at the facility had noticed. Shelley promised Peanut she would never put her through anything like that ever again. This experience reminded her, once again, of her passion and longing to work with animals. It was this unfortunate incident that gave Shelley the motivation to start a quality pet care service.

Specialties

Care for Cuties provides pet care in the comfort of your own home which is a great alternative to kennel boarding or inconveniencing friends and neighbors. Unfortunately we don not provide boarding or day care services however we do provide daily dog walking and pet sitting/overnights in clients' homes. We walk your dog in your neighborhood to keep them up to date with all the new smells which is done one-on-one. We do not do group walks where we gather a few client's dogs and walk them all together. This allows your dog(s) to get all the attention they deserve during their individual visit. There are four different options to choose from in terms of how long you would like the visit. Aside from the walk, water is freshened, treats are given (per client's request of course) and endless amounts of TLC are included. We care for cats as well! Cat visits include feeding, fresh water, cleaning of the litter box and playtime too. Every visit is customizable since we want our clients to have total peace of mind in knowing their pets are getting the best care.
